Hiking & Snowshoeing the Namekagon River
If you're looking for a non-traditional way to get out and explore this beautiful National Park then lace up your hiking boots or strap on the snowshoes. Trego Nature Trail winds along the banks of the river making its scenery an ideal place to spend the afternoon. It doesn't matter the season because once the snow falls you can access those same trails for snowshoeing.
While in the area, Trego Lake Trail also offers a trail system that is a part of the National Park System. Both systems set an ideal backdrop for a hiking (or snowshoeing) dream!
