Kayak the Namekagon River
Experience the wonders of this dynamic National Park with the River Ambassador! Paddlers of all experience levels are welcome; basic kayaking skills will be taught. The group will meet at the Cable Wayside canoe landing at 10:00 a.m., then shuttle to the County M landing. Riverway Documentary Showing
Catch a FREE showing of “The Wild and Scenic St. Croix” on January 8th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Valley Library in Lakeland, MN. This beautiful documentary is a tribute to the St. Croix and Namekagon rivers. It is part of the celebration of the 1968 landmark legislation which preserved rivers with outstanding natural, cultural, and recreational values in a free-flowing condition for the enjoyment of present and future generations.
